Regional VP promoted to Senior Vice President of Sales for Everlong

CHICAGO - December 6, 2021 - Michael Block, former Regional Vice President at Everlong Captive Health Insurance, has taken a promotion to fulfill the role of Senior Vice President of Sales.

Block started with Everlong in February 2018, when his responsibilities included playing a vital role in troubleshooting and implementing company services and claims issues for the account management team.

Block will now act as a mentor for the sales team, while creating and developing top industry professionals equipped for selling Everlong's high performance health insurance captive program.

Prior to joining Everlong Captive, Block worked with Colonial Life and was instrumental to the leveraging of national partnerships with UBA and Assurex in his role as product development field partner.

Block brings with him nearly 20 years of experience. During his previous employment experience, Block found success in creating brand awareness by marketing group ancillary products to new brokers, exceeded quote activity goals, supported retention by managing book of business and collaborating with the service team and grew underdeveloped markets for group insurance products, including dental, life, disability and vision.  

During his tenure within the insurance industry, Block has taken on many responsibilities, including helping account management cross-sell existing clients by developing and executing strategies and retaining profitable businesses by utilizing product knowledge with the team.

Block has been the recipient of numerous awards, including being a National Award Winner: Small Office of the Year - Top Sales, and Development of Team. Block was named Top Sales Team Manager in Illinois in 2012, and consecutively in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
